Motion Programming Interface

The MPI (Motion Programming Interface) is a C/C++ software programming library for writing motion applications for SynqNet controllers. The MPI is distributed in the MDK (Motion Developers Kit) along with other software utilities such as Motion Console, Motion Scope, VM3, and much more. The MPI is an extremely flexible hardware that let's the controller customize their application code for their machine. Perform on-the-fly motion modifications, synchronize multiple axes, set up trigger events, and much more.

MechaWare

MechaWare is a software library 'plug-in' package from Kollmorgen for use with Matlab/Simulink. Developing powerful control loops and controlling complex mechanical systems in software is now accomplished easily and in less time than ever before.

Pre-defined control 'blocks' can be used to quickly develop sophisticated control schemes from PID with feed forwards to complex vibration cancellation methods. MechaWare also allows for multi-axis line-shafting, following, and gearing to be performed quickly with the control block-set.

MechaWare enables complete control of the algorithm development without the need for custom firmware or programming interface modifications.
